Description
Nos. 2 and 2A Church Mount are four houses built in the 1830s. They feature stone dressings and a slate roof, with each house having three bays. The first floor has a sill band and a cornice at the top. The windows are fitted with wedge lintels and are sashed with glazing bars, while the ground floor has French windows. The central entrances are framed by Ionic aedicules, although they lack pediments, and each house has an eight-panel door. The first bay is a return to No. 2 Church Mount, which consists of one bay with a central entrance from the 20th century. No. 2 has four bays, an elliptical-headed entrance with a Doric doorcase (though the columns are missing), and two blind windows on the first floor, while the other windows have casements.
