Description
No. 28 Marmaduke Street is a house built in the 1830s. It is made of brick with stone dressings and features a slate roof. The building has three storeys and a basement, with two bays. There is a basement lintel band, a first-floor sill band, and a top frieze and cornice. The windows have wedge lintels and are sash windows, some of which have glazing bars. The round-headed entrance is framed by a Doric doorcase, although the columns were removed in 1984. It also has a complete fanlight and a six-panel door.
