Description
Olive Mount Children's Hospital, originally a house, dates from the late 18th century and is constructed of stone. The building has two storeys and features five bays. There is a band above the ground floor, as well as a top cornice and a blocking course. The windows are sashed and include glazing bars. The central window on the first floor is tripartite and has a fan motif above it, while the other first-floor windows have snags above. The entrance is accessed through an enclosed porch that has paired columns with entasis and Adam style capitals. The entrance is further enhanced with architraves, flanking round-headed lights, and roundels above. There is also an iron balcony on the central first-floor balcony. The right side of the building has eight bays.
