Description

The entrance gateway to the Church of St Michael, located at the south corner of the churchyard, dates from 1765. It is constructed of stone and features wrought iron elements. The gateway is flanked by square Tuscan piers that have cornices and ball finials. Above, there is a wrought iron overthrow adorned with nine pinnacles and panels that are inscribed with the initials "R.L/J.S/T.B/C.Wn/1765".
