Description

This is a pedestal monument located to the east of the north aisle of the Church of St. Michael in Huyton-with-Roby. It dates from the early 19th century and is made of stone. The monument features leaf-and-dart moulding on the plinth and cornice. The sides have raised panels, although the inscriptions have worn away. It includes pediments and acroteria at the corners. At the top, there is an urn with a shallow bowl adorned with wreaths and a reeded base. Surrounding the monument are cast iron railings that have decorative heads.
