Description
The entrance gateway to the Church of St Michael, located at the north-east corner of the churchyard, dates back to 1765. It is constructed from stone and features wrought iron elements. The gateway is supported by square Tuscan piers, one of which retains its cornice and ball finial. Above the gateway, there is a wrought iron overthrow adorned with nine pinnacles and a panel inscribed with the initials "R.L/J.S/Th.Bs/C.W/1765". The structure is accessed by seven semi-circular steps.
