Description

Town End Farmhouse is a red sandstone building with a stone roof, dating from 1705. It consists of a central hall block with projecting gabled wings. The hall block has a doorway and a modern four-light casement window on the ground floor, and a small four-light casement window beneath the eaves above. Each gabled wing has a window on both floors in its gable end, and a datestone inscribed “W/RE/1705” is set into the right-hand gable.
