Description
Stone House Farmhouse is a building with origins in the mid-17th century or possibly earlier. It features two storeys constructed of red sandstone, along with an early 18th-century cross wing made of red brick. The south elevation is double gabled and rendered in brick. A tall external stone chimney stack is located at the gable end of the stone section, topped with a pair of rebuilt diagonal brick shafts. The roofs are covered with machine tiles on all pitches. The windows were altered in the early to mid-19th century, now featuring wood casements, along with some recent modernisation.
