Description
Norland's House is an early 18th-century farmhouse that has undergone alterations and additions. It features whitened brickwork with stone dressing and is two storeys high with an attic. The main structure has two bays, and there is an added two-bay wing to the east. The building includes rusticated quoins, a stone plinth, and stone floor bands. Most of the original sash windows have been replaced with casements. Inside, there are stopped bevelled beams, ledged and battened doors, and six-panel doors with fielded panels, some of which have H hinges. The staircase is notable for its turned balusters, cut and bracketed string, swept rail, and dado panelling.
