Description

Rainhill Cottage is a 17th-century building located on Warrington Road in Rainhill. It is constructed of stuccoed brick with a stone roof and has two storeys. The main block has undergone significant alterations, while the older wing features a gable end facing the road. This wing includes a three-light casement window on each floor, complete with labels. Additionally, the garden front of the wing is built in stone and showcases a four-light stone-mullioned window on each floor. A stair projection is situated at the angle between the wing and the main block.
