Description

This is a late 17th or early 18th century house located on Liverpool Road, Irlam. It is constructed of rendered brick with a thatched roof. The house has a 3-bay, 2-storey plan, with a later lean-to addition on the left-hand side. A 20th-century panelled door is positioned between the first and second bays. Original casement windows with glazing bars are present on both floors, although some have been replaced in the 20th century. The house features brick gable chimney stacks. Six replacement casement windows are at the rear. The roof trusses incorporate wattle and daub panels.
