Description

Stocks, dating from the 18th century, are located on the north side of Lock Lane in Partington. They are made of stone and feature 20th-century timber foot restraints. The stock-ends are composed of bold stone sections with chamfered corners, a tooled finish, and round tops. They are also grooved for foot restraints. A plaque indicates that the stocks were relocated from Warburton Lane in 1976.
