Description
This is a 17th-century timber-framed farm outbuilding located on the south side of Warburton Park farmyard. It features a stone plinth, brick nogging, and a slate roof. The building consists of one cell, measuring 1 by 2 bays, and is open to the roof. Large double doors have been inserted on one side. Two sides of the structure retain most of their original timber members, arranged in square panels with diagonal braces, built on the stone plinth. The outermost panels of the longer wall show evidence of blocked doorways. The other two sides have been completely rebuilt in brick. A weather-vane is present on the roof.
