Description

Paddocklake Farmhouse is a farmhouse dated 1717, as indicated by the datestone above the door. The building is constructed of brick and has a 20th-century render with a later clay tile roof. It features a 2-unit lobby-entrance plan with a rear wing and stands two storeys tall. The central entrance has a 4-panel door, which is flanked by 20th-century brick buttresses. Each floor has two symmetrically placed 3-light replacement casement windows with flat heads and timber sills. There is one ridge stack located to the right of the doorway. Inside, the farmhouse includes an inglenook fireplace with a chamfered bressumer beam and a sphere, while other beams are boxed in.
