Description
Brookside Farmhouse is a farmhouse dating from 1716, as indicated by the datestone. It is constructed of painted brick and features a stone slate roof. The building has two storeys and three bays, with the third bay being gabled. The first floor displays hearts in raised brickwork, and the datestone is located on the gable. The windows include casements, with the first bay on the ground floor and the third bay on the first floor having segmental heads. The first bay on the first floor features a three-light horizontally sliding sash window. There is a stack at the front of the roof ridge, and the entrance has a segmental head with a 20th-century door. Inside, there is a room with two moulded beams.
