Description
Gasper Farmhouse is a farmhouse built in 1718, as indicated by the datestone on the right return. It is constructed from rubble stone and features a tiled roof with brick stacks at the gable ends. The building is two storeys high and has three windows across the front. A central brick porch has a segmental-headed opening and a six-panelled inner door, with a two-light casement window on either side. On the first floor, there are three two-light casement windows. The right return has two single-light casements on the ground floor and a single-light leaded casement on the first floor. The left return features a single-light casement in the attic and has an attached outbuilding that has been altered in the 20th century. At the rear, there are two single-storey wings with attics and casements, and a central stair turret that has a half-hipped concrete tiled roof. The interior is reported to retain its original joinery.
