Public house. Probably late C18 or early C19; altered and enlarged. Coursed squared sandstone, the left portion watershot, with random rubble sides and rear, and stone slate roofs on 2 levels. L-plan formed by double-depth main range with single-depth continuation to the right (and various C20 additions to the rear). Two storeys, the main range higher, 2:2 windows. The main range has a C20 gabled porch to the 2nd bay, one large rectangular window to the left, 2 similar windows above, and gable chimneys; the extension to the right has a similar porch offset to the right, 2 similar windows on each floor, and a gable chimney; all the windows at ground floor have altered glazing, and all above are transomed 6-light top-hung casements. INTERIOR altered. Forms part of an interesting group at Garnett Lees.
