Pair of cottages. Dated 1819 at 1st floor; altered and enlarged to rear. Brown brick in Flemish bond, slate roof. Double-depth, No.2 to the right single-fronted and No.4 double-fronted. Two low storeys, 2+1 windows; No.2 has the doorway to the left and No.4 has the doorway in the centre, both with wedge lintels and now protected by gabled wooden porches; both have 2-light casement windows with raised sills and large wedge lintels, those at No.2 wider and all with altered glazing. Datestone above doorway of No.4, inscribed: W J + E 1819 Ridge chimney at junction, and gable chimneys.
