Description
Hargreaves Fold Cottages is a cottage that forms the center of a row of three, likely built in the late 18th century. It is constructed of watershot coursed sandstone and features a stone slate roof with chimneys located on the ridge where it meets the adjoining cottages on both sides. The cottage has a double-depth, two-bay plan and stands two storeys tall. The front, which faces west and is now painted white, includes a doorway with a plain surround that is slightly offset to the right. There is a square window in the first bay, a stepped triple-light window to the right, and two similar windows located under the eaves on the first floor. The rear of the cottage is of less architectural interest.
