Description
Fecit Farmhouse, dating from the early 18th century, features an attached stable and shippon. The building is constructed of sandstone rubble with whitewashed quoins and has a stone slate roof that varies in height across three levels, topped with two brick chimneys along the ridge. The farmhouse has a double-depth, two-bay plan, with the second bay slightly projecting at both the front and rear. To the left is the stable, and to the right is the shippon, each consisting of one bay.
The farmhouse is two storeys high and includes a prominent single-storey gabled porch that is offset to the left of centre. To the left of the porch, there are two square lights with a central mullion, a triple-recessed head, and a thin hoodmould (the right end is covered by the porch). There is also a square window to the right with glazing bars and a similar hoodmould, along with two horizontal rectangular windows on the first floor.
The stable and shippon, which are slightly taller than the farmhouse, are made of large random rubble. The stable features a doorway and an altered window, while the shippon has a door and two altered windows. At the rear, which faces a rising slope, there are first-floor loading doors for both the stable and shippon.
