Description

Nos 6 and 8 Church Street are 18th-century buildings that stand two storeys tall. They have a rendered exterior and a Welsh slate roof with a plain eaves cornice. The front features three windows with stone surrounds and no glazing bars. To the left, there is a late 19th-century and modern shop, and a central door. The door to No 6 consists of six fielded panels and has a glazed rectangular fanlight above, framed by a stone surround and cornice. This property is part of a group that includes the Andrew Carnegie Public Library, Town Hall, Tourist Information Office at No 4, and Church Court, along with Nos 6 to 12 (even).
