Description
Nos 1 to 5 on Finkle Street are a group of buildings with origins in the 18th century. The structure on the left is taller, with three storeys, rendered walls, and a stone slate roof. Each storey has one window, with the top window featuring glazing bars. A fire plaque is also present. The right-hand side of No 1 is lower but still has three storeys, topped with a Welsh slate roof. This section has two windows on the top floor, above four on the lower floor. The two left windows on the first floor are modern, while the others have glazing bars. No 3, built in the same style, has two windows with glazing bars above one modern window and a modern shop front. No 1 features late 19th to early 20th century shop fronts, including one with three arcaded lights and two slightly canted windows with arcaded lights, all under a dentil cornice and continuous fascia. No 5, also part of the same build, has one window on the top storey and two hung sash windows with glazing bars on the first floor, along with a modern shop front.
