Description

No 10 on Church Street is a mid-19th century building that stands two storeys tall, featuring a rough rendered exterior and a slate roof. It has two windows on each floor, each framed with stone surrounds. The building is accented by rusticated quoins and stone pilasters, along with a moulded cornice supported by carved brackets above the entrance. The door consists of six fielded panels and is topped by a rectangular fanlight. A plinth is also present. This building is part of a group that includes the Andrew Carnegie Public Library, Town Hall, premises occupied by the Tourist Information Office, No 4, and Church Court, as well as Nos 6 to 12 (even).
