Description

NUMBER 4 AND CHURCH COURT is an 18th-century building of three storeys, rendered to resemble carved stone, with a slate roof. It has three windows. Stone surrounds feature on the first two floors, with fixed glazing bars at the top floor and casements on the first floor. Stone surrounds are present for two doors, and these have modern rectangular fanlights. A modern head marks the carriage entry on the left. The building is part of a group with numbers 6 to 12 (even) and is associated with the Andrew Carnegie Public Library, Town Hall, and premises now occupied by the Tourist Information Office.
