Houses, part of a row, probably early C19th. Rubble: mainly limestone on the ground floor with sandstone above. 2 storeys with attic. Windows sashed with gong bars and plain stone surrounds. No. 5 is of one bay with the door to the left, having raised and fielded panels, a plain stone surround and 5 stone steps. The cellar has a low window with plain stone surround, and an opening to the right with a similar surround. Chimney to the right. No. 7 is of 2 bays with the door in the right-hand bay. On the ground floor are 2 adjacent window surrounds. The door has raised and fielded panels and a plain stone surround with 5 stone steps. Under the ground-floor window is a cellar opening with plain stone surround. Chimney to the left. No. 9 is of one bay with the door to the left having raised and fielded panels, a plain stone surround and 5 steps. 2 cellar openings have plain stone surrounds, the right-hand one blocked. To the right are projecting furrowed quoins and a chimney. The right-hand gable has an attic window with plain stone jambs and glazing bars.
