Description
Hollins Farmhouse and the barn adjoining to the south-west are late 18th century structures. The farmhouse is built of squared sandstone and has a stone slate roof. It is two storeys high and consists of two bays. The windows feature plain stone surrounds and square mullions, with the left bay having three lights and the right bay having two lights. The door, located between the bays, also has a plain stone surround. There are chimneys positioned to the left of each bay.
The barn, which is to the left of the farmhouse, is constructed in the same style and shares a continuous roof with the farmhouse. It has a wide entrance and an outshut porch, with a later lean-to added to its right side. To the left of the barn entrance is a door with a plain stone surround and a window with plain reveals, which appears to be a modern addition. The gables of both the farmhouse and barn feature copings with kneelers.
