Description

Chapel Brow is a house dating from around 1800, with some remains from the 17th century. It is constructed of rubble with sandstone dressings and features a stone slate roof. The building has two storeys and three bays. The windows are surrounded by plain stone and have square mullions, with two lights in each window, except for the left window on the ground floor, which has three lights. All windows have casements with small panes. There is a door on the right with a plain stone surround, and a second door on the left that has a chamfered stone surround featuring the inscription 'REW 1684' on the lintel. The chimneys are located to the right of the first and second bays.
