Description
Listers Farmhouse is a house built in 1675. It has a pebbledashed rubble exterior and a stone slate roof. The building is two storeys high and has three bays. The windows are mullioned with a hollow chamfer, except for those in the middle bay, which have a double chamfer. The ground-floor windows consist of four lights, with the left-hand window featuring a hood. The first-floor windows have three lights. The middle ground-floor window also has a hood that encloses the door to the left, which is chamfered and has an elliptical arched head with 'TL IL 1675 TL IL' inscribed on the lintel. There is a chimney on the left-hand gable and between the second and third bays. The right-hand gable is topped with a ball finial. Although the interior has not been examined, it is reported that the middle room contains a wide chamfered fireplace with a segmental arched head.
