Description
Stankas Hall Farmhouse is a house dating from the late 17th century. It is constructed of rubble and has a stone slate roof. The building features a three-cell plan and stands two storeys tall. The windows have an inner cyma moulding and an outer chamfer; those on the ground floor are topped with hoods. To the left of the door is a window with four lights, while to the right are windows with five and four lights, respectively. On the first floor, there are three windows that were originally three lights but now have a single central mullion. To the right, there is a sashed window with a plain stone surround. The door has a worn moulded surround with a Tudor-arched head and a hood above it. There are chimneys on the gables and to the right of the door. At the rear, there is a chamfered doorway flanked by one-light chamfered windows on each side. The interior was not accessible at the time of the survey but is reported to have no exposed features of interest.
