Description
Paythorne Methodist Church is a Methodist church built in 1830. It is constructed from squared sandstone rubble and features a stone slate roof. The building is one storey high and has two bays. The windows are sash style with glazing bars and plain stone surrounds. The central door is framed by a stone surround with plain sunken panels, and above it is a plaque inscribed with 'WESLEYAN CHAPEL 1830'. There is a chimney located on the right-hand gable. Inside, the church contains raked panelled pews.
