Description
Alminstone Methodist Church is a Methodist chapel dated 1830. It features rendered stone rubble walls and a gable-ended slate roof, with a brick stack at the left gable end. The building has a rectangular plan and includes a gallery at the left-hand end, which is above a Sunday school that has separate access. The exterior is single storey and has long walls with three windows that have round-headed arches and gothic traceried lights with marginal panes. There are two 20th-century round-headed plank doors located towards the left and right-hand ends. A plaque in the center of the wall facing the road reads "Wesleyan Methodists Chapel built 1830."
