Description
The Bible Christian Chapel is a building dated 1857 and 1887, as indicated by the datestone on the front. It is constructed of rendered cob, with parts scribed to resemble ashlar, and has an asbestos slate roof featuring an undulating clay ridge. The chapel has a small square plan with a symmetrical front, and a school-room was added to the right end in 1887, creating a long rectangular structure.
The exterior showcases a two-storey front with tall lancet windows of two types: two earlier windows on the left with marginal glazing and two later similar windows on the right. There are also two pointed arch door openings with plank doors.
Inside, the chapel retains a cornice and a central ceiling rose from 1857, while the pews, dias, and fittings were likely added in 1887. The school-room features joinery from the same year.
