Description
Hacking House Farmhouse is a house built in 1697. It features pebbledashed rubble with a slate roof and stands two storeys high with three bays. The windows are mullioned, showcasing a hollow chamfer, outer chamfer, and hoods. The windows in the first and third bays were originally four lights but now have only one mullion each remaining. The central first-floor window, which was originally two lights, has no mullion. The door in the central bay has a moulded surround and a worn Tudor-arched lintel, which is painted with the date '1697'. The house has gable chimneys, with the right-hand chimney topped with a brick cap. Inside, the left-hand room features two axial beams with quarter-round mouldings.
