Description
Shackerley is a 17th-century house that has been altered. It is constructed of rendered rubble with a stone slate roof at the front and an asbestos sheet roof at the rear. The building has two storeys. The windows feature rendered chamfered surrounds. On the left side of the porch, there are two windows on each floor, which are irregularly spaced, with hoods over the ground-floor windows. On the right side, there is one window on each floor. The single-storey gabled porch includes a door with a rendered surround. The chimneys are aligned with the door, and there is one on the left-hand gable, which is missing its cap. The rear wall has flush chamfered mullioned windows, including a blocked one-light window that aligns with the chimney and front door.
