Description

Cuckstool Farmhouse is a farmhouse, probably from the 18th century. It is built of handmade brick and has a corrugated iron roof on two levels, with boarded eaves that likely cover thatch. The building has a rectangular three-bay layout, with the first bay having two storeys, while the other bays are one and a half storeys and one storey high.

The single-storey section features a boarded door that is offset to the left of centre, along with a two-light casement window to the left and another in a gabled wooden dormer above. The two-storey section has a three-light casement window on each floor, with the lower window having a segmental brick head, and all windows have small panes. At the rear, there is one window in each part: a small two-light casement at the ground floor of the first bay and a segmental-headed three-light casement in the second bay. The interior is of less interest.
