Description

Moon's Bridge, also known as Number 36, is a public road bridge over the Lancaster Canal, built in the 1790s by engineer John Rennie. The bridge is constructed from squared sandstone and features an elliptical arch with scored voussoirs and triple keystones. It has decorative bands and parapets with rounded coping, as well as pilastered ends.
