Description

Bell Fold Bridge, also known as Bridge Number 35, is a public road bridge over the Lancaster Canal, built in the 1790s and designed by engineer John Rennie. The bridge is constructed of squared sandstone and features an elliptical arch with scored voussoirs and triple keystones. It has decorative bands and parapets with rounded coping, as well as pilastered ends.
