Description
Cornshaw Brook Farmhouse and the barn next to it were built in the 18th century. They are constructed of rubble with a stone slate roof and are two storeys high. The farmhouse features two 2-light sash windows on the ground floor, which have square mullions, and one similar 2-light window on the first floor. There are also two altered square sash windows. The entrance is a plain doorway located in the center. The barn is positioned to the left of the farmhouse, sharing the same roof and extending forward. It has one irregular window and shows signs of a former arched doorway. To the right, there is a lean-to extension that is of little interest.
