Description

Walverden Cottage is a farmhouse that has been converted into a house, dating from the mid to late 18th century. It is constructed of squared dressed stone with quoins and features a stone slate roof. The building has a two-cell central entry plan and stands two storeys tall. On the ground floor, there is one three-light and one two-light sash stone mullion window, while the first floor has three similar two-light windows, although the left-hand window has had its mullion removed. All windows have flat surrounds. The central entrance door is topped with a plain, deep lintel, and there are gable stacks on the roof.
