Description
Lower Fenny Moor Foot is a house with integral back-to-back cottages, now functioning as two separate dwellings. It dates from the late 18th century and has been altered. The building is constructed of watershot coursed sandstone and features a stone slate roof with gable chimneys. It has a large square double-depth two-bay plan and stands two-and-a-half storeys tall.
The south front includes two doorways with plain surrounds, each accompanied by a three-light flush mullion window to the left. On the first floor, there are four two-light flush mullion windows. The left gable wall has an inserted door and window at ground level, with two two-light windows on each floor above. The right gable features two similar windows on the first floor and attic, although there is an altered window at ground level and an attached garage. The rear of the building mirrors the front, except it lacks a door on the left half. The interior has not been inspected, but it is noted to contain an unusual second chimney flue at ground floor.
