Description

This building is a cottage, now used as farm buildings, located immediately west of Scholefield House. It likely dates from the late 18th century and is constructed of stone with quoins and a stone slate roof. The left side of the cottage is slightly forward and features a plain door along with one three-light window on each storey. All windows have square stone mullions, and one window retains its original lattice glazing, which was probably removed from Scholefield House. On the right side, there is an external stone staircase leading to two plain doors, with a stone first floor above.
