Description

Further Clough Head Cottage is a house that likely dates from the early 18th century. It is constructed of coursed square stone and features a stone slate roof with stone coping. The cottage has an off-centre stone stack at the southeast gable end, which contains four 17th-century windows; two of these have lost all their mullions, while one has four lights and another has three lights. Additionally, there are some early 19th-century fixed windows with glazing bars that remain. A datestone, which is now lost, is said to have read 1642, but the current structure is primarily later.
