Description

This limekiln, constructed from limestone rubble, is located 250 metres west of the junction with Main Street along Warton Crag Road. The structure has a square shape with battered sides and is built into the hillside by the road. It features a segmental vaulted opening, which includes a central flue hole that is partly exposed on the upper surface.
