Description

This is a limekiln, likely built in the 19th century, located to the south-west of Crag Cottage. It is constructed from coursed slate and features a square shape set into sloping ground with splayed sides. The limekiln has a brick segmental arch that forms the fire hole, with a projecting slate course above it. Additionally, there is a low wall that projects to the front on the left side.
