Description
Shop Bridge is a bridge over the River Lickle, possibly dating from the 18th century, with later widening. It is constructed of stone rubble and features a segmental arch with thin voussoirs. The bridge is approximately 3.5 meters wide, widening at the north-east and south-west angles, and has low parapets. The boundary is marked by an upright stone that has a vertical inscription reading "BROUGHTON/DUNNERDALE". Part of this structure is located in Dunnerdale-with-Seathwaite civil parish.
