Description

Postern Gate Lodge is a circa 1800 lodge built as an entrance to Quernmore Park. The lodge is constructed from sandstone rubble with a slate roof. It has a symmetrical design, featuring a central two-storey gabled block with one bay, and a single-storey bay on each side, each with a hipped roof. The windows have plain stone surrounds; the ground-floor windows are fitted with glazing bars, and the window on the left-hand side is sashed. The gable has a coping. A chimney is located on the ridge of the central block.
