Description

Holme Cottages are a mirrored pair of cottages built in 1836. They are constructed from sandstone rubble with a slate roof. The cottages are two storeys high, with one bay each. They feature paired central doorways, both with simple stone surrounds. The windows are sash windows, also with plain stone surrounds. Above the doorways is an oval plaque inscribed with ‘JHE 1836’. Chimneys are situated on the gables.
