Description
Home Farm Cottage and Home Farmhouse are two houses built in 1686, with alterations made in the mid 18th century. They are constructed of rendered rubble and have a tile roof, standing two storeys high. Home Farmhouse, located on the right, features three bays. On the ground floor, there is a three-light window with a plain stone surround and flat-faced mullions on the left, while the right side has a similar window with one central mullion remaining. The first-floor windows retain remnants of rebated and chamfered surrounds. The central bay door has a moulded surround topped with a battlemented lintel inscribed with 'GSA 1686'. Home Farm Cottage, on the left, consists of two bays. Its ground-floor window is a three-light design with glazing bars and flush chamfered mullions, while the first-floor windows have chamfered surrounds. The door on the right-hand side has rendered reveals. Both houses feature chimneys on their gables and between them.
