Description

School Lane Bridge is a bridge over the River Lostock, likely built in the 18th century. It is constructed from hewn sandstone blocks and features a single segmental span with prominent roughly-hewn voussoirs. The parapet walls are curved with rounded coping, and the eastern parapet continues southward, following the riverbank eastwards, serving as a boundary to Waterhouse Green and Chorley Old Road.
