Description
This barn, located approximately 75 metres west of Gamekeeper's Cottage at Siddow Fold, dates back to 1686, as indicated by an inscription on the quoin. It is constructed from sandstone random rubble and features quoins and a stone slate roof. The barn has an L-shaped, three-bay plan, with a rear outshut attached to the first bay and a lean-to addition at the right end. There are slit breathers in both the front and rear walls. The central wagon entrance has been altered and now includes a sliding door. Additionally, there is a damaged doorway at the left end, with a quoin above it inscribed with "T M. 1686."
